Confirmation Class - Wednesdays at 6:45pm-8:00pm, 8th-9th Graders
We learn to trust each other in a faith community of our peers, use our Bibles (The Message paraphrase) to think abstractly about life, share and listen in our Covenant Groups, and prepare for membership in the United Methodist Church.
 Many youth bring friends to be involved and many families find their youth's Confirmation years an excellent time to engage in and be engaged by the church. If you know an 8th or 9th Grader who would like to be involved in our program, please contact Kent or Nate today.
Our Confirmation class is a two-year program meeting most Wednesday evenings, 6:45pm-8:00pm, from late September through the end of April. Students are confirmed on the final Sunday in the September of their 10th Grade year and wrap up their experience with Wednesday classes that same September.  We learn to embrace our personal faith journey as we discern our Confirmation vows. Finally, we challenge students to live a life of service to others and provide opportunities at Simpson Shelter, Feed My Starving Children, child sponsorship through Compassion International, and more. Large group classes are created and led by Pastor Kent and Youth Director Nate and Covenant Groups are led by a variety of parents and adult volunteers.
