Rummage Sale
Named one of the best sales in the Twin Cities by the Star Tribune, Excelsior UMC's Rummage Sales are events to be experienced! Typically the last/first weekend in April/May and September/October, you will want to mark your calendar for these semi-annual events. The activities of preparing and hosting the sale have become church-wide, multi-generational events that bring the congregation together.
Proceeds of the sales support a multitude of local, national and international mission groups. And there is the SHOPPING! Guests enjoy roaming the entire church building, garage and tent in search of bargain-priced treasures.
From jewelery to clothes, furniture to books, toys to housewares, pretty much anything you can imagine can be found at the sale. (And what doesn't sell is donated to other organizations that give it people in need.)
