Approximately once every 4-6 weeks, a group of men gather to discuss a novel (or collection of short stories or nonfiction book) to better understand it as story, literature, and how it relates to our lives and God. Past selections include Bill Bryson (A Walk in the Woods, A Short History of Nearly Everything), Jack Kerouac (On the Road), Jon Krakauer (Into the Wild), Cormac McCarthy (The Road), Larry McMurtry (The Last Picture Show), Christopher Moore (Biff: The Gospel According to Jesus Christ's Childhood Pal), Austin Murphy (The Sweet Season), Tim O'Brien (The Things We Carried), and Jonathan Tropper (The Book of Joe).
